Sydney, Nov.8 (ANI): Injured Australian all-rounder Moises Henriques has said that he is hopeful of returning to the field in a week.

He has set his sights on playing in the Australian one-day team for the summer series against West Indies and Pakistan, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

‘‘As a kid, I said all I wanted was to play one game for Australia, but when you get that one game, you just want more and more,’’ the paper quoted Henriques, who returned home yesterday, as saying.

‘‘I am still learning my craft. Playing for your country isn’t easy, maybe this is  what I needed to show me how professional you need to be to ensure you’re able to take the field every time,’’ he added.

Henriques, 22, has played two one-dayers and one Twenty20 for Australia.

‘‘I want to be back in a week or two,’’ he said. (ANI)
